Opened filament cannot be returned for change of mind. Filament is hygroscopic — drying before use is recommended. Suspected manufacturing defects are assessed via our support ticket and replaced if confirmed. See our Returns, Refunds & Warranty policy and Warranty page for full details.
Glass-fibre reinforced PET for rigid functional parts
Combine stiffness, dimensional stability and a matte finish for fixtures, housings and practical prototypes. This PET formulation is designed for low warping and low moisture uptake.
Material: IPCON PET GF.
Filament diameter: 1.75 mm.
Net filament per spool: 1 kg.
Colour: select from the available manufacturer variants.
Hardware to check before printing
Use an abrasive-resistant nozzle, such as hardened steel or tungsten carbide, and confirm the recommended nozzle size in the current manufacturer profile. Filled filaments can wear softer nozzles. Check your printer's temperature limits and filament-feed compatibility before use.
Manufacturer printing guidance
Drying Settings Before Printing: 80 – 110 °C, 6 – 10 h (Blast drying oven).
Bed Temperature: 70 – 90 °C.
Confirm nozzle temperature from the current PET profile before use; the manufacturer web table contains a mislabelled temperature row.
Drying, storage and results
Keep filament sealed with desiccant and follow the current material-specific drying instructions. Use equipment and spools rated for the required drying temperature. The settings above are starting guidance, not a guarantee: tune for your machine, geometry and environment. Work in a suitably ventilated area and review the safety data sheet.
Product photographs show manufacturer colour examples and sample prints; printed models are not included. Colours may vary with lighting and screen settings.
