Bambu Lab X2D Combo — Dual-Nozzle Printing with AMS 2 Pro
The Bambu Lab X2D Combo pairs the enclosed X2D 3D printer with one AMS 2 Pro for automatic filament switching. Its main and auxiliary nozzle arrangement lets you separate model and support materials, while active chamber heating supports more demanding printing workflows.

Key features
Dual-nozzle workflow: use a dedicated auxiliary nozzle for compatible support or secondary materials.
Actively heated enclosure: chamber temperature up to 65°C; nozzle temperature up to 300°C.
Main-extruder servo control: a closed-loop servo motor on the main extruder supports controlled extrusion. The auxiliary extruder uses a stepper motor.
Automatic material handling: the included four-slot AMS 2 Pro supports compatible multicolour workflows; additional systems are sold separately.
Monitoring and calibration: filament-path AI monitoring and automatic calibration help detect printing problems; they do not guarantee an unattended print will succeed.

Compatibility and setup
The main and auxiliary nozzles have different supported-material capabilities. Bambu Lab recommends suitable official materials for the auxiliary nozzle and notes that third-party materials may not achieve the same results. Printer material support does not automatically mean that a filament can be fed through the AMS; check the exact material and spool requirements. Flow-dynamics calibration applies to the main nozzle.
Electrical versions vary by region. The supplied printer's voltage rating must match the local mains supply; confirm the South African unit specification with ZK Print before ordering. Provide suitable ventilation and follow the printer and material safety instructions.
