Returns & warranty — view details
Opened filament cannot be returned for change of mind. Filament is hygroscopic — drying before use is recommended. Suspected manufacturing defects are assessed via our support ticket and replaced if confirmed. See our Returns, Refunds & Warranty policy and Warranty page for full details.

250 g sample – random colour

Try IPCON PC FRHS with a 250 g filament sample. Sample colours are supplied at random. A specific colour cannot be selected or guaranteed, and the colour received may differ from the product images. The sample contains 250 g net filament; select the required size before ordering.

High-speed, flame-retardant polycarbonate formulation

A PC formulation designed around toughness, interlayer adhesion and distinctive translucent or light-diffusing effects, depending on colour and print settings. IPCON markets it for flame-retardant applications; validate the exact grade and finished-part requirements.

  • Material: IPCON PC FR HS.
  • Filament diameter: 1.75 mm.
  • Net filament: 750 g standard spool or 250 g sample, according to the selected variant.
  • Colour: select from the available manufacturer variants for standard spools. The 250 g sample is supplied in a random colour.

Check your printer first

Use a printer compatible with 1.75 mm filament and the temperature range below. Confirm the current manufacturer profile, nozzle requirements and your exact feed-system compatibility before printing.

Manufacturer printing guidance

  • Nozzle Temperature: 240 – 270 °C.
  • Bed Temperature: 85 – 100 °C.

Confirm drying settings against the latest technical data sheet before use; the manufacturer page presents differing drying ranges.

An enclosed printer is recommended. Check the manufacturer's current processing guide for your model and application.

Flame-retardant application note

Flame-retardant does not mean fireproof. Verify the current manufacturer test report, specimen thickness, colour and processing conditions. A material claim is not certification of your finished enclosure or assembly.

Drying, storage and results

Keep filament sealed with desiccant and follow the current material-specific drying instructions. Use equipment and spools rated for the required drying temperature. The settings above are starting guidance, not a guarantee: tune for your machine, geometry and environment. Work in a suitably ventilated area and review the safety data sheet.

Product photographs show manufacturer colour examples and sample prints; printed models are not included. Colours may vary with lighting and screen settings.
