Opened filament cannot be returned for change of mind. Filament is hygroscopic — drying before use is recommended. Suspected manufacturing defects are assessed via our support ticket and replaced if confirmed. See our Returns, Refunds & Warranty policy and Warranty page for full details.
PLA formulated for food-contact-oriented development
A matte PLA option for projects where material selection and process cleanliness matter. IPCON markets this formulation for food-contact applications, but filament selection alone does not certify your finished print.
Material: IPCON PLA FC.
Filament diameter: 1.75 mm.
Net filament per spool: 1 kg.
Colour: select from the available manufacturer variants.
Check your printer first
Use a printer compatible with 1.75 mm filament and the temperature range below. Confirm the current manufacturer profile, nozzle requirements and your exact feed-system compatibility before printing.
Manufacturer printing guidance
Drying Settings Before Printing: 50-60°C, 6-8h.
Nozzle Temperature: 190-230 °C.
Bed Temperature: 35-65 °C.
Important: food-contact and detection claims
The manufacturer's material-level claims do not automatically make an FDM-printed object food-safe or compliant. Nozzle contamination, pigments, adhesives, layer gaps, cleaning, contact time and temperature affect suitability. Obtain the current test documentation and validate the finished part for its intended use. Do not assume medical suitability or unrestricted food-contact approval.
Drying, storage and results
Keep filament sealed with desiccant and follow the current material-specific drying instructions. Use equipment and spools rated for the required drying temperature. The settings above are starting guidance, not a guarantee: tune for your machine, geometry and environment. Work in a suitably ventilated area and review the safety data sheet.
Product photographs show manufacturer colour examples and sample prints; printed models are not included. Colours may vary with lighting and screen settings.
