Polymaker PolyMide PA612-CF Filament – Carbon Fibre Reinforced Nylon 1.75mm

Polymaker PolyMide PA612-CF is a high-performance engineering nylon filament reinforced with 15% carbon fibre. Built on a long-chain PA612 copolymer base, it offers an exceptional balance of stiffness, strength, moisture resistance, dimensional stability, and printability.

Unlike traditional PA6 and PA66-based nylons, PA612-CF exhibits significantly lower moisture sensitivity while maintaining excellent mechanical properties. Combined with Polymaker's Warp-Free and Fiber Adhesion technologies, it produces highly accurate, durable parts with outstanding layer bonding and minimal warping.

Key Features

Low Moisture Sensitivity
The PA612 base polymer absorbs significantly less moisture than traditional PA6 and PA66 nylons, helping maintain dimensional stability, mechanical performance, and print consistency over time.

15% Carbon Fibre Reinforcement
Carbon fibre reinforcement increases stiffness, strength, and dimensional accuracy while reducing shrinkage and warping. The result is lightweight, rigid parts suitable for demanding engineering applications.

Exceptional Layer Adhesion
Polymaker's proprietary Fiber Adhesion Technology improves interlayer bonding, delivering stronger Z-axis performance than many conventional carbon-fibre-reinforced nylons.

Warp-Free Technology
Engineered to minimise the natural warping behaviour commonly associated with nylon materials, allowing for excellent dimensional stability and reliable printing of larger functional parts.

Excellent Surface Finish
The optimized fibre loading and improved material flow characteristics produce smoother surfaces than many heavily filled carbon fibre nylons.

High Strength & Thermal Performance
When annealed, PA612-CF achieves tensile strengths exceeding 86 MPa and heat deflection temperatures up to 115°C, making it suitable for demanding structural and functional applications.
