QIDI Plus5 3D Printer – Large-Format CoreXY Performance
The QIDI Plus5 is a fully enclosed CoreXY 3D printer designed for fast, reliable production of large functional parts, engineering prototypes, and everyday prints. Its 320 × 320 × 300 mm build volume, high-temperature extrusion system, actively heated chamber, and intelligent monitoring features provide a capable platform for both standard and advanced materials.
Large Build Volume and High-Speed CoreXY Motion
The Plus5 provides a 320 × 320 × 300 mm build area. Its CoreXY motion system uses a high-hardness X-axis linear guide rail, 10 mm Y-axis linear shafts, and 9 mm-wide 1.5GT belts. The toolhead can reach speeds of up to 600 mm/s with maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s².
High-Temperature Printing for Engineering Materials
A direct-drive extruder with hardened-steel dual gears feeds a multi-metal hotend capable of reaching 370 °C. The heated bed reaches up to 120 °C, while the third-generation independently heated chamber reaches up to 65 °C. This controlled environment supports materials including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PA, PC, and carbon- or glass-fibre-reinforced polymers.
True Automatic Levelling and Smart Monitoring
A load-cell sensor integrated into the hotend provides automatic bed levelling. The Plus5 also includes filament runout detection, input shaping, power-loss recovery, a 1080p camera with timelapse support, and AI-assisted print monitoring. Filament-tangle detection is available when using the QIDI BOX.
Enclosed Design with Three-Stage Air Filtration
The enclosed glass-and-plastic shell is supported by a steel chassis. A three-stage filtration system combines a G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA filter, and coconut-shell activated carbon to help manage particles and odours.
Connectivity and Software
The printer features a 4-inch 800 × 480 touchscreen, 32 GB eMMC storage, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity. It supports QIDI Studio and compatible third-party slicers such as OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer, with common file formats including STL, OBJ, 3MF, and STEP.
